I recall hearing a while ago how Eden Treaty Chapter 4 was originally supposed to be about the Arius Autonomous Zone, but halfway through they changed it to resolve pink goriIIa's story arc. Does that sound right?
That would indicate they've had this story planned for a while now, but it just got put on the backburner for a looooooong time.
