NTA but I do think it's very suspicious that a regular contributor suddenly loses it and starts posting in broken English with filenames that break existing patterns specifically to have the world's lamest thread war. But at the same time, it'd also be a crazy coincidence if said anon vanished for good around that timeframe for unrelated reasons. We'll probably never know for sure though.
