My Barak was killed in the war in Gaza, leaving behind a little three-year-old daughter, a beloved wife, and many people who continue to tell me about his huge heart.

Barak always saw what others did not see, the child on the side, the lonely soldier, the one who finds it hard to ask for help. He simply knew how to embrace, open the door and the heart.

We are publishing a children's book in his memory that will educate a whole generation about empathy, acceptance, and an open heart – just like Barak had. The book will reach educational frameworks and help shape a better and stronger society.
