You know that's something I'm realizing about Watanare that you aren't right but neither wrong.
Mai is okayish now that she isn't so rapey and Ajisai is cute. But it truly feels as if they mostly already made their cycle.
As they are now Teren will need to get our of his way to make them interesting, though it's not impossible

Beyond that, the funny thing is that Renako dinámica are more fun with the other characters that aren't her lovers

>Kaho being a total trash goblin always messing with Renako, and the one that actually feels more like an actual friend
