Eh, not really. The point of Superman is that, at the end of the day, he's just some dude who grew up on a farm. Without his powers, Clark Kent is a friendly, mild mannered fellow who wants to help people because his parents raised him to be a heckin' good boy. Even the Harley Quinn Show, despite being a crass dramedy, understood this.

Sonic being the Wind is more like him being a metaphysical concept. Sonic being just some guy is anathema to The Wind.
