Back in early March she did say she was wanting to cool things off, not get intimate/kiss and needed space. She lasted less than a week before she was having me come back over and gave me a kiss on my birthday, telling me "I still care about you" and shit. So doesn't help she was putting up boundaries and tearing them down just as quick. We did also argue a decent amount about me heading home at a reasonable time so she could get some sleep before work since she was having to wake up at 5am meanwhile I worked night shifts and didn't wake up until about 11am. Though those arguments only ever happened when we'd be drinking too heavily. Most of the time we'd forgive each other before I was out the door or worst case the next morning. I'm not saying I was perfect though, I definitely did get upset at her a few times for what should have been minor things, but I would always apologize and it was never when I was sober. If I ever get another try with her I'm making sure not to touch a drop of booze while we're together. Ironically what brought us together ended up tearing us apart.
