I think it's just how true the whole thing is and the comparison to pigs and slop is so dead on that the pigs masguerading as people can't help but accept that they really are pigs. Funny how the comparison applies to other things related to magic from its original point and even applies to other things that people consume.
Took only one person with not that big of an audience to speak out their real thoughts. All the bullshit that people spew just doesn't measure up against the truth of how things really are.
