Echo chambers
The left has isolated themselves to deeper and deeper echo chambers on the Internet where anything they don't like is banned or filtered. Instead of considering alternate points of view they just call anybody they slightly disagree with a Nazi and ban them. They think that their highly filtered echo chamber of people who agree with them represents the opinions of the general public.
