Alright, vet gave him an antibiotic shot and told me to isolate him for now. We'll wait a week and if the others don't show any symptoms we'll vaccinate them for herpes.
I have a large cage with chicken wire for hens with newborn chicks during the summer, I'll put him there for now, hopefully it doesn't stress him enough to supercharge the herpes, idk how that works.
His good eye seems fine, I may have misjudged it because I used a bright light after dark to check it, still she gave me some drops for it.
I mean I can take care of him long term it's not like outdoors cats need a lot of effort, I'm just afraid of herpes flare ups and being a potential infection site for anything that passes through, hopefully the vaccine is enough for the regulars.

We're talking about 2-3 outdoors cats including one that's mine that just come in contact often. They're being "taken care of" but idk if I can intrude on how much they care for them. At least they won't say no the shot if I pay for it.
Again sorry for the essay post with the obvious
