That would partly explain why it has been taking so long, especially if there is a big focus on SoL.
I guess they want to both setup stuff like in der Film pre-Arisu match but also have some of the combat happening as well. I guess that's why they ended DF4 like they did, to get completely free slate without Wani vs Gloryhole school intro which would've undermined possible SoL and training for Finals.
Also, it gives ample time for the possible last team as well as quick overview of other schools and their reaction to x factor with of course more focus on Gloryhole school and Crusaders.
If I would've to guess it's gonna be
>Intro stuff and SoL
>Maybe small "look at the other schools seriously they actually exist and have depth in anime"
>Possible introduction to next team, finding their tank, and training(if no new team, then just bit more So(u)L)
>(Second place where they might do the school depth stuff, but also most likely more Gloryhole)
>Battle start like 50 minutes in
>Sacrifice for Mibolin team by some other team at the end
>Åoarai's tanks are surrounded at the end as cliffhanger because Arisu pulls some "ninja tactics"
Maybe Shiho as well with training arc, or at least Mibolin interacting with her during SoL.
I just hope it's good and goes in-depth with SoL stuff. I will laugh my ass off if they do der Film again and let everyone join Ooarai's team instead of new tank but I wouldn't be too surprised honestly
Maybe pushing out lots of GuP content is the 10 year plan to make GuP popular.
