So, it happened AGAIN. We can blame injuries, we can blame Wirtz transfer fee, we can blame Isak, we can blame the attack, we can blame the midfield, we can blame the defence, we can blame the goalkeeping, we can blame the bench, we can blame Allah being angry with Salah, we can blame TAA for leaving on a free, we can blame the media, we can blame the weather, we can blame the grass, we can blame the groundsman, we can blame the refs, we can blame VAR for not saving us more than they already did today, we can blame Thatcher, we can blame the Tories, we can blame the red Tories (Starmer's Labour), we can blame Pep, we can blame Arteta, we can blame /sp/, we can blame anime, we can blame the sun, we can blame the Sun, we can blame the sun on Argentina's flag, we can blame the police, we can blame society at large, we can blame anything and everyone but ourselves, but the truth is it's simply not enough. Tactics, determination you name it, it all stinks.
Don't get me wrong, I still have full faith in Slotto and the lads, but MASSIVE reinforcements are desperately needed this summer for at least another £200m. Otherwise, I'm not very optimistic about this season, or our chances of winning something next season for that matter. Not playing like this. What do you think, /lug/? #itsnotourfault or #muhillsbreh?
