Because that's exactly what fucking happens and it's always the same story too. Someone dies one too many times, goes on a rant about the "game sucks" (bonus points if they talk about being a "souls veteran") and that they're dropping it. There is almost never any legitimate criticism for the game, just "I died bro what the fuck this is bullshit". Slay the Spire is the exception not the rule and people openly cheat at Fromsoft games all the time when they're not getting carried through them or mindlessly grinding until they're over leveled for the content they're going through. This is also why Sekiro was so controversial for not having summons or any major form of leveling.

This is also ignoring the fact that you can easily cheat in Steam achievements, so the completion rates for all of these things is always way lower than what it actually is.
