Now we've got the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden (or, Appenzel Outer Rhodes in English).

Pictured in red, it is an enclave within the canton of St. Gallen, and was split from its sister Canton due to religious differences (Ausserhoden being majority Protestant). It is a mountainous, sparsely populated german-speaking canton with its largest city counting at 15k inhabitants.
