I just reached Maroantestra, after a 16 hour boat trip. Pic related - going to the bathroom and not stomping on a family of six was quite a challenge. Maroantsetra seems nice - reminds me of Leticia/Tabatinga on the Colombia-Brazil-Peru border. Seems quite civilized for such an isolated town. A lady called over her friend in amazement at an English-speaking customer when buying cigs lol
Tonight I'm embarking on the bush hike. Will have connection for the next two days; after I'll have no electricity nor internet for eight. Ten days total - followed anon's advice on seeing everything possible while there.
Will report after.

Just a random moment of doubt. Foulpointe kinda sucked, was getting fed up with the mess and the impossibility to do anything productive, started slightly missing home and my close ones. But that's because I already spent a lot of time abroad this year.
Today, however, I'm feeling more up to the task.
