2 things could be true with this lawsuit:

1: This was Nintendo's original Idea but Palworld beat them to the punch
2: Nintendo tried to capitalize on Palworld's ideals by making the monsters roam freely to fight instead of their usual RPG element they have done to Pokemon for 30 years.
Either way, this shouldn't of happened and Nintendo would've been off to leave well enough alone and let the sales do the talking. Methinks they were salty Palworld was gaining traction so they tried to get rid of them. Companies have not learned with Bamco when they tried with Loading Screens 20 years ago.
