UH BROS???!!!
>This name comes from one of the new book series in 6.0, the Hymns of the Far North. In this book, Finnish names were used to address the following deities of the Hyperboreans - Phanes, Naberius, Ronova, Istaroth, Nibelung, the First Angel, the Third Descender and the Goddess of the Frostmoon.
>This is done because the book itself is a literary imitation of the Finnish mythology epic, the Kalevala, and a lot of Finnish concepts (Hiisi, Pohjola) are featured in it. It’s a really good book and Hoyo really outdid themselves, even from a purely literary angle.
>Pitkamoonen is the name given to Phanes in this book. As far as I know, it does not have any meaning in Finnish, and is probably an original creation.
>P.S. Interestingly, the hymn meant for Asmoday was said to be ”missing”.
