>Early cuts featured a subplot about Castle's partner Jimmy Weeks, who betrays him to Saint due to gambling debts. Castle later confronts a guilt-stricken Weeks and drives him to suicide.
>Thomas Jane was Hensleight's first choice for the role, but initially declined as he didn't believe he was right for the role.
