If Lydia was actually a goth baddie she would have just married Beetlejuice of her own free will and left her normie WASP parents to rot
That's why this movie makes no sense

Rewatched pic related last night, and I don't think there's a better example of a movie that makes absolutely no sense but succeeds regardless. When it comes to movies like this, there always seems to be two takes:
>It's just a movie bro, don't overthink it just enjoy the ride
VS
>Plot inconsistencies and logical errors are the hallmark of a bad film and they take me out of the movie
Personally I can forgive dumb character decisions or unexplained science/magic, but inconsistency or contradiction bother me greatly. Where does /tv/ sit on this issue?

I just dont think he fits as killer, but it would be really fun hearing a more chatty killer.
Lydia survivor is just because Winona is gorgeous.
