ok so y'all are bullshitting, The only screencap I could find from the stream shows 4 boxes after more than 4 hours. Let's assume she opened 1 box per hour, and went for 7.5 hours before finding Emeth, that would mean she opened 8 boxes. I want to be kind to you and let's say she sped up after hour 4, and ended up opening 15 boxes by the end.
Let's assume she doesn't have any local connections to tcg shops who would've sold to her/the company at normal prices and she instead overpaid the insane prices they go for _now_, so 1k each, meaning she spent 15k.
seeing picrel, it would mean she paid ~2 engineer's monthly salary in cards.
Even assuming she spent company money for all of it, considering that the company has 450+ employees (see https://www.digitalextremes.com/about) this would mean that they spent ~0.4% (let's be kind again and assume that a majority of the company doesn't make the average canadian salary for software engineers, so round it to 1%) of the company's monthly payroll on this.
Please stop worrying about company finances if you are a wagie and do not understand the scale at which a mid-sized companies operate, because you are clearly ill-equipped to understand it.
