setting progress to 0 after a failed defense is just retarded and tells everybody to put zero effort into defenses
If AH was smart they would add half the defense progress as liberation progress after the world falls, i.e. we reach 90% defense progress, the enemy wins, and we retain 45% liberation progress.
That way there would be a point in fighting even in doomed defenses. Right now you're just burning your impact by fighting on planets where beating the enemy is impossible.
