>she will become the third most popular character after Furina and Hu Tao
If you've been on /gig/ for a while you might remember people crossposting random charts and graphs showing the amount of followers the character-specific boards on reddit have as a way of proving that certain characters (usually Hu Tao and Raiden) still were the most popular characters
Earlier this week the site pushed through some new changes where instead of showing the historical amount of followers/subscribers each sub has (which included abandoned and deactivated accounts) it now shows the monthly visitors instead. Because of this the boards for old legacy characters like Hu Tao have lost 75% of their userbase (which didn't even use the place to begin with) while newer characters that have far more discussion value and relevancy in the 2025 iteration of the game, both in terms of story and meta, understandably are more popular
I don't care enough to look through the 100+ pages for each character, but based a cursory search of characters relevant at the moment it seems some of the most frequently visited pages are
>Columbina, 46K
>Flins, 45K
>Skirk, 39K
>Furina, 35K
>Raiden, 33K
>Neuvillette, 31K
>Lauma, 30K
>Hu Tao, 30K
>Mavuika, 28K
>Nilou, 26K
In conclusion? Furina is artificially popular and everybody cares about your Raiden
