Isekai is like fast food, it's just shit slop for a quick dopamine hit, don't worry about it so much. No one makes fun of it more than it's actual fans.
The only one I've seen people seriously defend as a poignant, mature work is mushoku tensei while it's just as retarded and pathetic as the rest, which is probably why it's often the target of mockery and arguments in it's own threads.
