Speaking as a longterm Pokefag and die hard Game Freak hater, I can safely say, following the buzz of Palworld, no one expected it to "kill" Pokemon, Pokemon is a cultural landmark and now we have people raising their kids to grow up playing it. It's not going fucking anywhere ever, even if the games are dogshit ass.
No, what Palworld did was prove that there's a more than sizable portion of people sick to death of Game Freak's incompetence and adamant refusal to improve or at the very least appease the droves of adult players the franchise has retained. Palworld is a game full of stock unity assets held together with glue and duct tape and it still sold a mega fucking million billion copies because there are that many people just chomping at the bit for a Pokemon game that treats them like a goddamn adult.
The market for this is proven to exist, all we need now are more games for it.

AST can take a class on death's door and pump them to full HP faster than some classes can get their strongest skills out. It also has great CC, AoE healing and now it has RPR's teleport making it extremely hard to pin down.
AST does nothing but make games take longer and keep you in a perpetual state of slowed down because Gravity has 2 uses on it. It is objectively horrible and unfun to play against and the class has turned into "if you don't focus this thing down, you WILL lose" because it has so much CC, healing and other utility that any team supported by an AST basically has double the HP of a team that doesn't.
