Mags for the Uzi, Mac11 and Mac10 are specifically limited to 5 rounds despite being pistol mags.
The M1 Garand is specifically exempted from capacity limits by law, as are 10 round Lee Enfield mags (even though they're manual action anyway).
In addition, original magazines for the Charlton, Farquhar-Hill, and Huot are exempt from capacity limits, as are original drums but not box mags for the Lewis, Vickers, MG34, and Bren guns, as well as original feed strips for the Hotchkiss.
Machine gun belts designed but not necessarily manufactured before 1945 are legal of any capacity. These cannot be reproductions.
In addition, original AND MODERN REPRODUCTIONS of Luger snail drum magazines any capacity (but not box mags), C96 integeral mags of any capacity (but not detachable mags), and Webley self loading pistol mags any capacity are legal.
Finally, semiauto pistol mags of any capacity are legal provided the individual magazine in question was manufactured prior to 1910. Good luck dating a particular magazine.

None of this is confusing in the slightest
