They're pretty good. They've got good dynamics with each other. But I do think they lack some background story and such. I feel like we don't know much about them since we don't get many 1 on 1 moments where we get to talk with them about things that aren't the current mission. DLC might fix that though, we'll see.
I also think their designs are kinda too samey - they all have roughly the same height and stature. A bit more variety would've been nice, just visually.

SV group still clears them easily though. It's gonna be really hard to top them. Dunno why you think they aren't as fleshed out, I don't feel like that at all. We know so much about them.
