I'm sure HSR will also get tiring as time goes on, but ZZZ lost its charm for me fairly quickly. One problem is that devs simply don't feel confident in their vision, and they keep reworking stuff and adding radically different content in... like the upcoming multiplayer thing.
I liked the launch ZZZ, but the game has been moving further and further away from that.

>Of course, Genshin has more than just endgame unlike HSR, so older characters can still be used in other content (and is more healthy to play this way and not care for endgame).
I absolutely agree with this. Genshin is an actual open world game, with lots of content in each region, like side quests and enemy encounters.
So if one does not care for the endgame, it's still totally possible to use the team that you like in open world content, since it is pretty easy to handle.
Meanwhile in HSR the main story is easy... and after you complete that, there really isn't too much to use your team on aside from the endgame.
Like now after finishing Amphoreus... I could go and hunt for rest of the chests in the two new areas, but compared to exploration in Genshin, that won't take nearly as long.

I occasionally switch between JP and EN voices to see what the characters are like in different languages, and English Cipher, Phainon and Lygus were real standouts. I wish rest of EN cast was that good.
