I don't like the Idea of worshipping deities or fallable constructs reflecting our own flawed society. Our own vices, desires and faults embellished, placed higher on the cosmic totem pole. Super-powered human beings essentially, entangled in petty fueds, claiming to be the arbitrators of truth or knowledge while still mirroring our own insecurities.
Pagan traditions fight tooth-and-nail to humanise the divine with families, personifications/avatars of the abstract. If I worship one aspect, the other will not cease to exist?
God should be something greater, incomprehensible, commanding prostration only to him, who gave me life; and no man, no caste or authority. You should be a rat only to the jewish man's economic class slavery.
Still if you forced me to choose from the Vedic traditions (i suspect it's you), I'd take Kali
