I was thinking about going to a furcon this year. Changed my mind last second because both the fact that I'd be going alone without any contacts and the fact that furry culture is very welcoming to really filthy degenerates is pretty daunting. They do seem fun, but not knowing anyone there and walking among actual pozzers is scary.
