Nintendo is losing a lot of goodwill
So is nintendo's greed going to actually start hurting them? If you told me a year ago that the odyssey team would make a game that was good and that I somehow wouldn't buy the DLC for it, I wouldn't have believe you, but I'm pretty sure 0 people bought this trash
Then Mario anniversary. $60 for 3 ports at the 35th anniversary, definitely stretching it but I know a lot of people who gave in especially since they made it a collectors thing. But $40 for just 1 mario galaxy game is fucking insane
Friend of mine who owned every standard amiibo during the WiiU era doesn't even buy them anymore with how expensive they've gotten.
And the virtual boy feels like jumping the shark on being comically greedy. Like who is even the audience for this people who watched some youtube critic make fun of it 15 years ago but have enough morbid curiosity to drop $100 on it even though they know it'll be trash
Don't get me wrong people will still buy mario, zelda, smash, etc. But is anyone still buying the rest of this shit?
