Artixfag here, I use Openrc instead of Systemd. Some programs might require you to install a separate package corresponding to your init (e.g. networkmanager and networkmanager-openrc), and you add them with
# rc-update add networkmanager default

The only things I had to manually add post-installation were cronie and colord, the latter only when using Cinnamon. I start Pipewire/Wireplumber using a script because the official openrc packages never worked for me. All info is on the Artix wiki. Also, while I think Artix is good, I wouldn't recommend it to a newbie. Not because it's bad or anything, but Systemd works just fine for the average Joe. Also, please be responsible when managing your Arch/Artix system. A lot of people don't and then blame their problems on the OS.
