Korra was awful and shitted on a lot of aspects of the previous series, but it was at least was made as a attempt to appeal to the fans of the previous series.

TTG just took an IP and tried to make their own money-maker slapstick comedy like Spongebob. If anything TTG is the catalyst to display of how modern DC will let anyone do literally anything with their IPs. I wouldn't even be surprised if DC would make a show where Superman takes an entire 20 minute shit every episode if it made them money.
