my mom becomes spiteful when i don't give her attention. i am up late because she started playing the tv very loudly while i was about to fall asleep. i think this is because i attempted to avoid her all day, opting to rather spend precious time with my partner.

i have a mind to take care of her because the rest of my family won't, but i don't want to lose my mind trying. i miss my dad, and i hate being treated like a surrogate husband for her. it all feels so overwhelming, and i feel so battered, having had to have put up with it for so long. i can only hope God steps in, at this point ;(
