I had a Whirlpool that went bust after 4 years due to the chipset burning out. Then I had a very cheap Indesit for 13 years that was rather loud and once it became too rusty I changed it for a Gorenje which is basically Chinese now it's HiSense. It's very fast, very quiet, rated for 7-8kgs, don't know how much it consumes yet. It's just a simple 300usd washer. It doesn't have a dryer I have a porch so I don't need that.
