I’m a huge fan of the series and I love the in game combat system but when it comes to the storyline, cutscenes and whenever Atsu talks in general I just can’t take it seriously. It’s unrealistic to me, as if you have a woman irl talking like she’s him but she’s not. Especially in scenes where she tries to look and sound tough with her high pitched voice and fragile looking body. Please guys how can I ever feel like a ghost of yotei when I can’t even take the main protagonist seriously? I feel like the current gaming industry is pushing woman protagonist too much lately and it’s getting rid of that “I’m him feeling” I had to get it of my chest. I understand if you disagree on my opinion if your testosterone is below average but having a female samurai was probably very unlikely or plainly impossible when samurai’s used to roam the earth. Like I be playing the game and be enjoying it and feeling like i’m a genuine samurai but then Atsu messes it all up by opening up her mouth. Ps even the drip in this game isn’t comparable to the first game come on man. Ps i’m not being sexist but being realistic based off history and general physical performance lmao
