Joining a club with an ulterior motive just doesn't work. You have to have an intrinsic motivation and enjoy the activity itself. Friends of mine at uni were part of a theater club. In hindsight I could (and maybe should) have joined them but judging from the plays I've seen and interactions at birthdays etc. the whole thing wasn't my vibe. There was probably some other group that would be more my speed, but it doesn't come naturally.

I don't even know man. At this rate I'm not sure if I even have the social capacity to maintain a relationship. In most ways I'm doing perfectly fine for myself, so I guess it's just basic human instinct and in particular a need for cuddles.
