Pretty sure that they didn't have a word for measurement. Her "people" hadn't invented the wheel, sail or, written language. Most were barely equivalent of tribal bronze age. We wuzzing is just sad. In some ways it is our fault for taking them out of the wild and introducing them to an environment that they are not evolved enough to participate in.
