Unless the illness is, like, cancer or something. Then spicy chilis won't work. They also won't work on AIDS, consumption, pllague, or any kind of prion disease. But colds, flus, and ocean madness will be cleared up in no time with some super spicy chilis and a bunch of ginger.

I sliced it and ate it over rice. The honey did a pretty good job at sweetening, but I think I'll try sugar next time. I would also like it to be redder. I didn't add any red food coloring (which a lot of recipes call for) instead opting for the traditional red bean curd. I gotta find a way to make that red more saturated. Maybe beet juice? But then I'd have to account for the sugar or honey and I'm not sure how it would effect the consistency of the marinade. Lots to figure out. It's quite exciting.
