I'm old. Went NEET young. Almost 40. I didn't want a deal or anything like that. I just wanted to live a life where I put in the least amount of effort as possible. I don't care about sex or girlfriends. I'm fine with weed and video games. Yes, even at my age. No, I don't feel like any regret for not listening to DatePsych and becoming alphapilled or whatever the term is now. My lack of ambition has kept resentment low. Being a bum has made my adult life comfy when my childhood was sort of chaotic. NEETing saved my life.

Why wasn't the GameCube more successful? Did being the least edgy console post 9/11 fuck them over that much?
