tbf improved jump jets+partial wing+tarcomp+pulse is basically the endgame of the setting. It just turns into armored core once everyone can make those and anything else can't hit them and can't dodge them.

The only real counter is artillery because they can somehow predict your movement in order to accurately shoot the ground where you're going to land in ten seconds. Still not sure why they've employed all their clairvoyants in artillery trucks, but whatever.
