The entire point of the game is about the nature of being "human" and almost every character has transhumanist themes. It sounds like it just goes over your head entirely.

It's brought up several times that even the fucking whale is "human" deep down due to Gnosia being able to affect her. Same with the guy who wants to be a cat, the guy that literally looks like a grey alien, ect. The game, even in the original Japanese, is at it's core about how we are all people and should respect each other and support each other.
