Gotta say I'm losing steam on FF Legend 2. I'm in Apollo's world now and everything is starting to feel really samey. My mutant is by far the most useful party member, even after resorting to save scumming eating meat the monster has been mostly crap and weak compared to what I'm fighting.

Mostly it's that FF Legend 1 felt so cohesive with the progressing worlds up the tower which all felt so different. This has felt like a lot of back tracking and very samey looking worlds.
