It's like the story wants Phainon to be the MC at times but then it remembers TB so they have TB get wanked. Phainon's so inoffensively dull when he's not changing personalities depending on who he's speaking with that he might as well be a JRPG protagonist with the player using a strategy guide for character affection dialogue trees.
