and looking back into my steam library, nier replicant (one of my favorite games) is a story focused game that also has a tendency to slap you with walls of text
but i loved that game so much, there is something about genshin's writing that fucking broke me, genshin made me scared of playing story games because i'm scared they will have bad writing like genshin fuck me man
