Street Fighter has tons of stuff you just can't really get anywhere else, or at least have it feel this good.
There's just something so fucking enticing about throwing a fireball and hitting a nice clean anti air as they jump in that tag slop, air dashers, and 3d games just don't have anything that compares. Honestly, just a nice anti air dp is splendid because it feels like you're a brick wall and they're getting desperate and it's not working.
Likewise, whiff punishes are just so nice and tag slop and air dashers just don't have any. You see them press a button, press yours just a second after in delay and when it hits, it feels like chumming. The only game that compares or beats this aspect and how nice it feels is Soulcalibur because you literally see the tip of their sword just miss you while you fuck them with your attack. Tekken used to have whiff punishing too but now it's just rock em sock em robots with frame data.
