Neverminding the dora discard that i just wanted rid of, What makes 2m here such a strong discard according to mortal? Is it purely because it's genbutsu? Surely Im'm not expected to fold right now. 9m and 9s I can see the benefits, but apart from 2m being safe I see none. If 9m is a pair then the 24m kanchan is stronger than a lone 37p. discarding 9m to lock in 987 also leaves the 246m ryankan.
