Just finished 3.5 last night, and as someone who doesn't like amphoreus all that much, i'd have to say that it was decent, but has too many shortcomings
An improvement over 3.0 to 3.4 for sure, but it gets dragged down from retarded writing decisions
The chrysos heirs are the worst part about it, and their thousand year sacrifice ends up feeling like padding because the new area is so short
The lack of new locations to actually explore was annoying, the computer hellscape was just a one off area you couldn't run around in and i was really hoping for a break from the constantly space greek shit
You can't control hysilens at all in the new quest despite her being on the banner, but you do get to control cerydra, but you never get to fight anything with her
Lygus is by far the best part about this story, but him being zandar gives me mixed feelings
On one hand, it's finally something involving a genius society member, but it makes the lack of herta and screwllum's involvement in the last 5 patches all the more retarded.
Also the way this patch plays out is really weird. It felt like they didn't know where to put hysilens an cerydra's backstories, so they just threw them in at the end
I don't have any high hopes for the future patches, i'm just glad that amphoreus will be over soon
