I agree, Lupa legitimately seems like the most fun character to be around so far. Like someone who can be your bro, your hero and your girl at the same time. Patch was great as well, but I can see people who don't want the MC being glorified and wanting every story being a large ensemble of characters that are not needed there just for more "character interactions" purposes to not like it as much.
