I dropped Alan Wake 2 after 3 hours. Playing as Alan Wake is a fucking chore. There's like 5 shadows dudes clumped up at a time and only some will actually turn into enemies that will attack you or none of them will and you'll waste resources trying to figure out which is which. Flat out bad game design especially for a "survival horror".

It has some interesting and cool ideas, but even those are directly ripped off from Twin Peaks season 3, so just go watch that.

Silent hill 2 remake was the tits, but I never played original so there's that hope it helps.
