I gave the inpaint dummy a day off to see if I can inpaint a fix to interlocked fingers. As it seemingly really does boil down to just picking the least spaghetti of them out of four and lowering the denoise each time, I rather not post it here just yet. It's clearly far more advanced a task then fixing 1girl standing toes. Opted to look in the archives and used >>106443690 as a guide to the current guide. Maybe there are better ratios.
So since "hands on own chest, interlocked fingers, own hands clasped, own hands together" is beyond me (or at least my patience) I'm fixing the dummy's hair instead. Too simple of a job for GIMP or even Paint.NET, so I merely maskked in the loose strands, slapped "messy hair" in the negative prompt, cranked up the denoise to 0.9, and pray. The prayer was answered. Kind of. Exhibits 2 and 4 are the best of the lot but she's sweating in 1 and breathing a sigh of relief in 2. I also didn't prompt the ahoge on 3 but I'm thinking about keeping it. That beings said, all of them have this weird trasnparent thing going on on the right (her right) side. I likely set the mask too far out and the denoise too high, hence the flying sweat and slight puff of hair.
So far so good. I'll give her bangs a clipping if I'm certain it won't mangle her forehead or something. It'll likely change its shape a little. Oh, and I caved in and got GIMP (I assume Photoshop's too much of a hassle to YARR for due to its shiny new subscription model). Will look into that video regarding the path tool and see how it can help. From what I've been told here it's a selecting tool on steroids?
