they operation on pretty long timelines and would rather seek a political reconciliation over 50 years than a military confrontation anytime soon.
Plus that'd be a hell of a landing. There's only a couple times a year you can even do a landing and boats are pretty fucking easy to knock out of the water with HIMARS.
Then again, Chinese laser air defense looked pretty fucking good in Tehran.
